Every time I drive by this place, it seems to be packed. I finally got a chance to try them. I base my overall opinions on a Mexican restaurant by their Carne gusida and the flavor of the sauce. This place is now at the top of my list. And the red salsa is fire! I'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes. The server was great and the atmosphere is very nice.. A full bar is available for drinks as well.

Really solid food. Beef fajita in my burrito was really tender, crispy tacos were nice and crispy with good flavor. Overall enjoyed all our food and it was quickly served. Would definitely come back if in the area.

Been in corpus for 15 years and I’ve finally found the restaurant that taste like the valley! It’s freaking amazing! El cazadores plate is amazing. Our waiter was amazing too! Great place! New favorite spot!

Food and service was absolutely awesome. Ended up taking food home as well for 3 others and the bill was really reasonable. Definitely will go back.

Okay, so there's this spot called "Casa Vieja" here in Corpus Christi that's seriously amazing. It's not fancy, but it’s so clean and the flavors, my god? Off the charts! Their mole is rich and complex, like nothing I've ever tasted. And the tortillas? Made fresh all day. It's the kind of place where you can tell they put their heart into every dish. Honestly, it's Michelin-star quality without the Michelin-star price tag. You should def check it out! It's about 15 minutes from you at most. I drove 7 hours just to eat her that’s how good this food was if that helps you make your decision on where to eat. If you don’t eat here you’ll question your decisions in life up until this point as soon as you do. I know I did lol.

The homemade pan de polvo stole our hearts as well as the tortis. (Tortillas) nothing bad to say ever each time we come by. We only wish there was sufficient service in Corpus as much as there is here. We love everyone here.

My husband and I LOVE this place! We've been there quite a few times and adore the chamoy margaritas. They are simply amazing! We've both tried plenty of different dishes and haven't been disappointed in any of them. My favorite is the Jalisco burrito. I always have half leftover, and it's still very good the next day. Out of the many times we've been there, I don't think I can think of one experience that I didn't like. Updated review... We've probably been there at least 10 times now. It's the only Mexican restaurant in Corpus that we've tried that we'd go back to. Tonight, we went and ordered some of our favorites... they somehow managed to actually improve them! I didn't think it was possible to love that place even more. But the refried beans have a lot more flavor than before. My husband gets the pastor often. Tonight, it was a bit different, and he loved it. He liked it before. It just seems that they're improving from already being great!
